ONTARIO LOTTERY AND GAMING CORPORATION

1. Winner’s Edge accounts are open to those who are:
   1. Residents of Ontario only; and
   2. Eighteen (18) years of age or older;
2. To sign up for a Winner’s Edge account ("Account") (or to update your contact information), visit profile.olg.ca. The Winner’s Edge account is free and no purchase is necessary to participate in associated Programs and Activities (both as defined below).
3. Holding a Winner’s Edge account provides you access to various OLG programs (“Programs”) including Winner’s Edge, LOTTO MAX UP CLOSE and any future OLG programs. These include access to exclusive emails, contests and coupons.
4. To become and remain a registered user, you must have internet access and a valid email account. OLG is not responsible for a user’s inability to: connect to the internet, log in to the Winner’s Edge account website, gain access to their Winner’s Edge account or participate in any activity associated with the Account.
5. Once you complete your Winner’s Edge account registration and become a Winner’s Edge user, you will be eligible to receive emails from OLG, including newsletters, promotional updates, any event invitations, jackpot alerts, winning numbers alerts, or other emails you sign up for. To keep your subscription current and valid, simply update your account every time your name, address, or phone number change(s). This can be done by accessing your account from the "Profile" link at the bottom of emails sent from OLG or by accessing the Profile link at profile.olg.ca, when logged in to your Winner’s Edge account. Email services are optional. You can unsubscribe from these services at any time by visiting the Winner’s Edge account website at profile.olg.ca or the LOTTO MAX UP CLOSE website at lottomaxupclose.ca. Unsubscribe links are also provided at the end of each email you receive from us.
6. OLG may, from time to time, offer promotions, contests, giveaways, or other activities (collectively, "Activities") to Winner’s Edge account holders or advertise such Activities in the emails. Any such Activities will be governed by separate sets of promotion, contest, giveaway, or program terms, which may include additional restrictions or eligibility criteria.
7. Winner’s Edge accounts are expressly limited to one (1) account per person. All duplicate accounts or suspected duplicate accounts are subject to cancellation without notification by OLG at its sole discretion. Email addresses may not be shared between subscribers and each account must have a unique, valid email address. Accounts are not transferable.
8. Winner’s Edge accounts which have an excessive number of rejected emails, as determined by OLG in its sole discretion, may be automatically disabled, preventing the subscriber from accessing Programs associated with Winner’s Edge until they contact OLG and provide their alternative email address. Repeated problems with email delivery to a subscriber may result in suspension or cancellation of the subscriber's account.
9. Subscribers may not use any other Winner’s Edge account, including participating in promotions made available via the Program websites or communicated in the Program emails using other subscribers’ accounts.
10. The authorized account holder or subscriber is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
11. Subscribers must provide accurate information to the OLG Winner’s Edge account at all times. If any information provided by the subscriber is found to be false or inaccurate, the Account may be subject to cancellation without notice by OLG at its sole discretion.
12. OLG reserves the right to use subscriber feedback in any way it deems necessary or useful for better administration of the Programs.
13. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information in Program emails, no warranty of accuracy or completeness is expressed or implied. To validate lottery results, visit a lottery retailer near you.
14. At subscription, we ask for personal information (name, address, date of birth) to validate that Winner’s Edge account members are Ontario residents 18 years of age or older. Your personal information is stored securely. We will never sell your personal information to third parties. However, OLG may use the services of a third-party Program administrator, Splashdot Inc. (“Program Administrator”), to administer the Winner’s Edge account and associated Programs. Any personal information provided to or collected by the OLG or the Program Administrator, including but not limited to subscriber’s contact information, is collected under the authority of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999 and is intended to be used for the following principal purposes: to conduct and administer the Programs by OLG or through a third party Program Administrator, including, but not limited to deploying email newsletters, alerts, or promotional updates; assessing your eligibility for and providing exclusive contests, coupons, or access to Account holders; awarding of any Program prizes; marketing and advertising including providing you with valuable information and other lottery-related correspondence; understanding our customers’ interests, evaluating our offerings and improving the delivery and quality of the Program and other OLG services and offerings; responding to your concerns and providing technical support; for OLG’s internal business purposes including using aggregate data to conduct research regarding current and prospective offerings and services, in connection with any necessary subscriber conduct reviews; referring to such personal information in voice messages or other messages left for a Subscriber; and to comply with legal requirements. 15. Winner’s Edge accounts may be accessed only by authorized users. Users who log in represent that they are authorized to do so. System usage may be monitored and logged for unauthorized use or abuse. Any attempt to tamper with any of the Programs, deliberately damage any website or undermine the administration, operation, or security of the website or the legitimate operation of the Programs, is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and OLG reserves the right to disqualify and/or seek damages and/or other relief from all persons responsible for such acts to the fullest extent permitted by law.
16. OLG and OLG’s Program Administrator assume no responsibility for: delays in processing subscriptions, emails lost, interrupted, stolen, delayed or misdirected, for any reason whatsoever; for the failure, interruption or delay of any email or other communication to be given or received, for any reason; for any incorrect or inaccurate capture or transmission of information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, visual or printing errors; garbled data or transmissions, omissions, interruption, deletion; any computer viruses, time bombs, logic bombs and any other implanted devices of a like or similar nature that may arise or occur in connection with the Programs or related Activities, or problems with the function of any website or website feature howsoever caused; the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof; any functionality lost due to not having cookies enabled; traffic congestion on the Internet; the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer "hackers"; or any combination thereof, as a result of participation in these Programs or related Activities. OLG is not responsible for subscribers’ inability to participate in the Programs or any related Activities.
17. OLG is not responsible for commencing, continuing, or completing the Programs or any related Activities in the event of circumstances beyond its control. OLG reserves the right to deny, discontinue, suspend, or interrupt any subscription sign-up or subscription mailings, and subscription membership may be revoked, discontinued, suspended, interrupted or cancelled at the discretion of OLG, without prior notice.
18. The Programs and use of the Winner’s Edge account are subject to the laws of the Province of Ontario and the Federal laws of Canada as applicable.
19. OLG reserves the right to cancel any or all of the Programs or modify these official terms in any way, in whole or in part, with or without notice and at such times and in such manner as OLG deems appropriate.
20. These terms supersede all previously existing Account and Program terms. These official Account terms govern this Account and associated Programs, and must be followed, and by agreeing to participate in any of the Programs, all subscribers agree to comply with, and be bound by these terms.
